Quantum physics, black holes and Cajun food. :P
Seriously, how about modding, but not necessarily a computer? I know SgtM has done some hardcore LED work to his truck...stuff like that.
Just a thought.
LED's in a moving vehicle.. why DT, that's against DOT regs.. :devcool: (I love that smiley)

Only if you get caught, and only if they are on while the vehicle is moving...

C'mon guys, take this seriously.
I for one would like to see someone take a look at how modding has changed the industry, how case designers often rip ideas from modders without acknowledging them, and how the industry at large has tried to market to us specifically.
I'd like to see articles exploring design concepts, the reasoning behind modding; about inspiration, failed but brilliant ideas and those flawless victories.
Biographies on great modders, on great collaborations; the history of modding, the evolution of certain techniques.
These are things that I'd enjoy reading.

How about a historical review of the evolution of computers?

I'd like to see some of those biographies, that would be pretty cool. Maybe a piece on the various workshops some of those modders work, too.

This could be interesting. I know there's a few workshops that come to mind that I would die to see (Crimson Sky, rendermandan, Boddaker are three that come to mind).

The biography of a famous modder's favourite tool would be an interesting twist.

pssft. everyone knows Al Gore created the internetz. thats easy.
maybe an article on why beige was the color selected as the definitive computer case color. Could be interesting. Programming articles? I for one would be interested to learn some history of programming. I dunno. lol tough question. I like the hardware reviews we get here, they are always informative. Maybe more software reviews?

It was the cheapest colour because no-one else wanted it?

I think dave is right. Since beige needed no dye it was cheaper to buy the pellets needed to form the case plastics. Same with the paint cheap and easy. I remember at one point when I was a teen and my mom bought me a new computer that the same model with the same specs varied in price by color. I believe it was an HP and the colors were beige, black, and purple.

I stared modding a original Xbox. Search back to some of my very first post and you will see what I was doing. I added flush mount windows to the X on top of the case.

Cable management. It is one area of modding that I am horrible at.
