I was perusing through Hack a Day and came across a short, yet interesting read (http://microblog.routed.net/2008/12/10/the-performance-cap-for-the-current-set-of-netbooks/) on why all of the Eee PC's have the same specs... I was always confused about this but I figured it only boiled down to overstock from the CPU supplier or something.
