If only there was a website that you could go to, and type in what you were looking for, and it would list relevant information for you..

If only you could ask it questions to help you find things, like specs, or hardware, or even programs to do common tasks..

If only it was something GOOfy in title, something easy to remember, something with a simple interface, maybe a brightly colored loGo..

Anyone know of anything like that?

Awesome! Now if only there was some where that we could tell everyone about this, "Google" thing.. then they could use it to find answers to questions, instead of starting a new thread ever single time they dont immediately know the answer to something.

Hmm.... what we need is some sort of place where people can post information, almost like a "message board", some sort of "forum" for people to share info..

Mindspring, netscape, search.com, I even remember a web group where you could email them a topic and they would search the web manually for answers for you. How about when netscape was the browser of choice or when yahoo chats had actual people chatting in them? Wait here is a real old one... Playing DOOM for hours and then switching over to tomb raider for some sexy laura croft. Or the original Myst.... Yea I think I just had a geekgasim

The other day my buddy was looking for the AoC trial and I told him to sign up for the 14 day trial... he downloads the 7 day! He said he couldn't find it... so I told him to google Age of Conan 14 day trial.
