I bought 8 GB of this G-Skill ram for a new build recently. I planned to use Vista 64 but ran into too many compatibility issues. I've installed XP 32-bit now, and have no need for the extra 4 GB.

Also, as it turns out, the AMD memory controller can only run 1066 in single channel, so I'm looking to trade this 4GB of DDR2 1066 ram straight across for 4GB of DDR2 800 ram. Appearance is important in this build, so let me know what you've got. I will pay postage for both packages.

Here's a link to the specifics on this ram:

Check out the RAM I have in "My System", it is very good performing RAM. I have 2 kits so that's 4x 1GB sticks and about $350AUD worth of RAM (what I paid for it), I dunno if that will help you. I wouldn't be willing to trade until I find out if my new mobo supports 1066 DDR2, I still don't know what DFI want to give me.

Here is a link to my RAM on the manufacturers site:

Really good for OC, stock timings are 4-4-3-5, can be overclocked to almost double its stock speeds.

Let me know what you think, I was looking at upgrading my RAM anyway to something a little bit faster and that allows me to free up 2 slots on the mobo. I would be trading at a big loss but if I brought new RAM and tried to sell my current kits it would have been the same anyway.
