Well if it were Drupal I could help yah! ;) But then again if it were Drupal you wouldn't be asking because its right there in the create content menu. :D
I know we have a lot of Joomla fans, but after I tried it vs Drupal, I prefer Drupal.
Here is an article of some sites that are Drupal that you may have never known were Drupal.

If thats not enough to sway you... I know SgtM is good with the Joomla.

Whats the difference between the 2? If I have been reading correctly Joomla is a derivative of Drupal.

If Drupal is any easier to figure out then I can switch. I need something that is easy to maintain, easy slide shows, and I don't have to hand code much.

Well they basically do the same thing. From my experience Drupal is alot more flexible when it comes to how it treats, organizes, and displays content. With either you can don't have to hand code anything. The modular design of both make them the top 2 CMS projects around. I like Drupal because I feel like I have more control over the content and how I choose to display it.
There is a pretty good read here on Drupal vs Joomla.

I know a thing or two about Joomla. Articles man. Everything revolves around articles. From there, it's just creating your links, which is pretty easy. What version are you using? I have 1.5.10 on http://freeiphone.comli.com

I decided to use Drupal instead. Its ability to make more traditional pages rather than blog style post is what hooked. me.
FINE! Be that way! rofl.. I need to get off my butt and try drupal out sometime.

From what I have been reading (and omg is there an abundance of drupal knowledge) and watching (also and abundance of free videos on everything) drupal is the way to go if your not building just a blog style site. Drupal even has the ability for message boards.
I read for 3 weeks about Joomla and tried out the sandbox version they have online and I never felt familiar with it. Drupal is already starting to feel like and old friend. This could be because of the videos. I can read something 50 time and not fully get it until I watch a video or a live demo. They are both open source (YAY!!!!) so both could work for the average user. My problem was that I am building a photography site. they are usually minimal in design and mostly black (to make the colors on the images "pop") and the blog format of most of the Joomla designs just made it too cluttered for me and the way it treats everything as an article. Drupal just allowed me more control over my site IMO. Like I said though. Both would work for most other style sites. The big decision maker was the link that OvRiDe posted. There are so many huge name organizations and corporations (NASA, Playboy, etc.) using drupal that I figured it had to do something right.
TBCS is built on Drupal too.
