If I would to have guessed, I would have said it was an Indian. Pretty bike though... I didn't know BMW was into bikes back then! Crazy but not as crazy as what that thing is probably worth lol.
EDIT: On a side note, this is what happens (http://www.bikeexif.com/se-service-harrier) when drugs get in the mix.

410ci 310 hp twin cylinder airplane engine on a bike? even a bike that big its gonna be pretty fast... lol. bet that thing is LOUD.
