That is strange. The first link you can see that it is a 2.16GHz dual-core (T3400) with 4GB RAM, 160Gb 5400RPM hdd and intel 4500m. Then the BB it gets swapped to a celeron with 2GB. I was going to say it didn't sound too bad with the dual core and 4GB, but the celly and lowered ram makes it just ehh.

The celeron for 379 is the 5919. The 5945 will be going for 429.

Thats business my friend. I may charge 1500-2500 and even as high as 5k for wedding photography when my actual cost is less than $600. No business ever made it by only marking things up 40 or 50%. Almost everything you buy even those $.99 cables and fans from newegg are marked up 300-500% Guess what. The higher the demand the higher the markup. Hell a doughnut that cost $.95 only cost the bakery $.02 or $.03.

I can't believe they're still making laptops with Celerons and Vista

I agree.
Hahaha, my dad once called the Celeron the "Celery." It is like celery though, you put more calories into it than you get from it.
As to Vista... it should never have been released. And that's all I'll say about that.

I disagree. The more I use XP, the more I hate it.

:stupid: I used Vista ultimate for the 30-day period and I love it much more than XP, and I also like W7 as well

Vista was alright for a little while... but then it decided to fill up the 55GB I gave it, not let Nero burn discs, and then it committed suicide so I gave up on it.

Vista has some very nice features....While XP has some nice ones too...Mix them together and you might actually have a good OS.
How do you decide which features are good? ASK THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY USE THE OS!! NOT THE PEOPLE WHO DESIGN IT!
I actually saw a video on how they decide which features mainly get put into the Windows OS, and basically only the developers decide. I never see anyone asking me what I want it an OS>!>!
