hey all you LED experts out there, I was brainstorming on what I wanted to do to my 1991 Olds Bravada (besides swap out the comparatively weak 4.3l V6 with a 350 small block) and I thought it would be cool to replace the front blinkers and fog lights with LED lighting.

this is the bodystyle of mine (although mine is white)

just wondering where the best site to find bright white LEDs @ for a decent price.

there are these 18000mcd (http://www.ledshoppe.com/Product/led/LE2005.htm) LEDs from ledshoppe.com that are $25 for 100. good deal?

Also how bright should I go on the amber/orange LEDs for the blinkers?

My idea is to use foil backed plexi (or just buy the mirrored stuff) for the back and then just make a little box with a plexi front to cover the LEDs for protection. any thoughts? this project won't happen for a while so take your time!

also, has anyone wired up tail lights w/ leds? figured I would ask here cause I know SgtM and a few others are diehard LED fans... figure we can come up with some cool ideas for my olds! :D

Pick up a copy of Truckin' magazine and look at the ads. There's a few companies that make led lights for vehicles. Just my 2 cents.
