this isn't much of a mod.... it was built for gaming and speed in mind, not the looks, but i thought it might be fun to post, and give you guys a look, i like seeing new cases, and i hope some of you enjoy seeing mine

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/9162/resizeofdsc001954bm.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

this was the original look of it, with original hardware, everything was stock, stock heatsinks and everything, specs were

cpu: p4 3ghz
ram: 1gb dual channel KVR
gpu: 5700 ultra 128mb
hdd: 120gb IDE
psu: 420w raidmax

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3331/resizeofresizeofdsc002133of.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

same specs.... and look at that wiring job... this was 2 years ago :)

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3825/resizeofresizeofdsc002101yo.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

my Z thingy, when it actually worked, now the cable is broken, and i can't get it to work right :(

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/6640/resizeofresizeofdsc00214small9.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

same specs, but this time, i got 2 new blue LED fans... this was still around that 2 years ago mark.... this was the pre-cursor to what my pc is now

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/6121/resizeofresizeofdsc002261hc.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

ah, the first attempt at real wire management... it's horrible, but still better than it was

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4756/resizeofdsc008039vm.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

here, i finally added some green, and moved the blues, to sort of clump everything into it's own region, i was pretty happy with it, until i did this....

also, i upgraded to a 5900 ultra 256mb :) i still love owa for it... i traded it, for free, it was an amazing deal with a very generous man

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/9250/resizeofdsc008167qq.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

this was about a year ago.... i remember because a certain skanky girl i happen to know started trying to get my babies.... yeh, it looked sweet i thought... that's when i knew it had to be blue and green....

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/6670/resizeofresizeofdsc008676oi.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

same thing... only with the new zalman heatsink :) that happened sometime this spring... i picked it up in my truck...

http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/8287/resizeofdsc002575co.jpg

that's the truck....

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/1588/resizeofdsc008852xd.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

here it is... my 6800 GT, with it's stock heatsink still of course... you'll see....

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/3142/resizeofdsc008878pq.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

6800 GT again, in action

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/6686/resizeofdsc009053ew.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

here it is... finally, the early steps of what it is now.... green everywhere, well almost, i have one red LED on my mobo showing that's it on all the time... i left it like that

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1252/resizeofdsc009094eg.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

same thing... diff view

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/3742/resizeofdsc009114vx.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

here i have it, almost finished..... the lighting is right, but i don't have the switch in there yet, like i've demonstrated in the above post where i have fans on and off, note the stock heatsink on the video card

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1071/resizeofdsc009157lr.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

here's another pic, same specs and everything... but notice, that Z thing i mentioned.... yeh it isn't working anymore

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/667/resizeofdsc009192nd.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

uh oh... screw-driver... video card... bound for disaster, right? well... wrong, it actually went smooth...

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/9707/resizeofdsc009270dv.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

to make a long story short, here's the finished product... my 6800 GT with a Zalman vf-700, great heatsink for a review, go here : Tekbunker (http://www.tekbunker.com/reviews/Zalmanvf700/)

http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/1610/resizeofdsc009307hb.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

here it is in action....

http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/2379/resizeofdsc009612ar.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

here it is, the finished product.......

http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/6008/resizeofdsc009603hz.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

and in daylight..... that's how it rests as i type this on my desk.... specs have changed a bit, looks have changed alot also

specs are now:

cpu: p4 3ghz @ 3.4ghz
ram: 1gb dual channel KVR now in a 5:4 ratio for stability

I like the way it glowes 3 different colors. I wouldn't think it would look good but it does.
