It should be TBCS Browser, as Internet Explorer is already a program.

No offense but why not just skin something we all know works like firefox. building a browser is much more complicated than just building the UI. You have to make sure its secure.

I wasn't aware than Ubuntu used anything other than Firefox? I don't remember ever using anything else.
imho, a skin would be a much better idea. I'd use it if it was done right and if it was visually appealing. Although, it would have to be pretty sexy to make me not want to use the one I'm using now. I think that bold simplicity and a good taste for appealing aesthetics is the key here. Make a rough draft, submit it here, listen to what people say, make the changes, and so on and so on.

Just checked my Ubuntu DVD and it does use firefox. The reason we are saying to just skin ff is that all kinds of bad things can happen unless you implement a great deal of security measures within the browser itself. Skinning FF can be done in a few hours and you do not have to worry about hackers, viruses, etc. But like ^ said It would have to be dead sexy to make me switch. (read that last sentence as : Must be black and vista like.)

Then it should be like Window Blinds for IE. Maybe just a skin hack of IE that looks like TBCS
