Definitely.. in the article they talked about the possibility of routing paths in the acrylic for the coolant, rather than using tubing.. how cool would THAT have been? :D

This was actually featured in a POPSCI issue and had his e-mail so I ended up e-mail him. I'll ask him if ya want.

He stole my idea. I would have hid a ton of stuff though and probably would have used an existing desk.
Nicely done but I agree on the wire/hose management. It looks 90% done.

I actually got a little peeved when I saw this popsci article. Desk mods are nothing new, but how PopSci wrote about it and even provided a 'guide' just rubbed me the wrong way. There have been plenty of desk mods that look better with more and less, and the guy even admits that he couldn't get stuff like the PCIE cable to work right.
We can all Monday morning quarterback the mod and what to do with it, I just feel like in this particular case Popular Science made a lot out of nothing. Kudos to the modder who got featured though.
