...Really starting to get to me.
It will drop for maybe 10-30 seconds at a time then every few days maybe drop for a minute. If I turn my wireless switch off then back on it will reconnect right away.
Driver issue comes to mind but why would it start suddenly?

is it a linksys router? I had an old 802.11b linksys that would do that. I replaced it with a Dlink and the problem went away.

I had this problem with a el-cheapo belkin router. ugh. dlink by far has been my favorite brand for routers so far. I have yet to have a problem (knock on wood) with them.
is there a firmware update for your? this supposedly was the fix for the belkin router, according to my googlefu but the new firmware didnt help me. maybe it will help you.

Ya really. If there's one buzz kill it's buying a hundred dollar router and have it start spazzing on you just after the return policy is up.

You could probably just reset it or change the channel on it.
Sometimes there is an ultra rage setting or something that can be enabled.
I remember setting up a belkin. If i remember correctly it has allot of security options
I would suggest the WPA-PSK Passphrase it seems to be easier configuring it that way.
