Also, that's not gymkhana. Gymkhana courses are really small, really tight, and really technical.

WRC? Wrong. He's raced in Rally America. Which is like the little-kids version of the WRC. He wouldn't even place in WRC.

His courses are too big. There's too many big, sweeping turns. Gymkhana is tight and technical. THIS is Gymkhana:

On a huge course like Block has set up, there's more tolerance for mistakes. His courses are less about technicality and about "how long can I keep the tyres smoking". Impressive? Yes. I love me some good tyre smoke. But that doesn't make him good. There's some stuff in there I wouldn't do (powersliding through warehouses, or up near the dock), but the majority of it is just letting the car do the work. Let's see him do a real Gymkhana course in something a little less powerful and see how he fares?



I second this. Omega's just jealous.

What do I have to be jealous of? That car, perhaps (even though I think the new STi hatchbacks are ugly as sin), but not his driving ability. If I am jealous of anybody's driving ability -- it's Sebastian Loeb. 5 WRC Championship wins in a row... he's a madman.
