Looks pretty cool. I like the image search too. I'll play with this one for a bit

I like it. I don't think it will replace Google for me, but... I've found a pretty good use for it that Google doesn't provide me with. lol
I like the search results for Google better than Bing, however I like some of the features and options that Bing has. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. More than likely, Google will just bring their engine up to par with Bing in features and all those goodies and then there won't really be a reason for Bing for most people.
But I could see Bing being the "other" search engine. Unlike Yahoo (currently anyways), I think it'll catch on fairly well and stay around for some time as Google's competitor, if not its permanent competitor.

I've always hated Google and loved Yahoo. Bing will be a toy, that I'll eventually get bored of

I don't really like it. Google is simple yet effective. I don't care for all of the flash in a search engine.
I have more fun on cooliris for looking at random things.

Pro's: Video streaming within the search results and Olivia Munn (http://www.hulu.com/bing-a-thon).
Con's: Google's better in everything else, if only slightly.
It would be a clear winner if not for Olivia Munn. :D

Oh wow. I just looked up the video on youtube. Wow. Just... wow. That commercial sucked something hardcore. How embarrassing...

Two thoughts:
1, it looks like they took the Google results and prefetched some data. I'm unimpressed.
2, it gives a lot of repeats with incredibly similar content.

Oh my ****, I saw a commercial for this on Hulu the other day and thought it was the worst ****ing thing I've ever seen. Doesn't mean I won't use it... just means I hate whoever they hired for marketing. I didn't even know what "Bing" was at the time, just assumed it was yet another stupid product being advertised by morons, lol.
Yes, I am not a big fan of marketeers.

I gotta agree with you on number 1. Number 2, however...I can say the same thing about Google. However, Google is kind enough to filter out the clones.

I thought the same when I first heard about it. And then I read an article. This could be the search engine to end all search engines for teenage boys, if you catch my drift...

Alright, BING's video search is pretty damn cool. Just hover your mouse over the thumbnail and the video plays right there!

But its' not the whole video that gets played, just parts (I think it is something like 15 second snippets).
Very cool, regardless.

I prefer it that way to be honest. Its meant for previewing, not viewing. If it looks good, then I click on it and watch it.

Seeing as i dont really watch tv i didnt see the commercials for it. But I came across it when I went to msn maps and hey look they changed the name. I do like MSN Maps (now Bing) better than google maps or mapquest, but that isnt because they changed the name. Best I can tell: Nothing new here people, Bing is just the old MSN stuff with a fancy new name, and maybe some better features added.

The big EXPLORE thing is kinda ghetto. Other than that it looks good.

A live redirect. I preferred the live theme.
Backgrounds are good though. Will take some getting used to.

I was checking out the San Jose/San Fransico area, and I have to say that Googles Street View is pretty cool, but so is Bings "Birdseye" view.
Check out Alcatraz

Also I was a bit curious at what this is next to the San Jose Airport.

(Might need to pan around a bit to see all of it)
Looks like some race track?

My guess would be a training facility of some sort. Look at the parking lot to the N/NW--it has an oval painted in it as well.
