Soo this wil be my first project and proberly the most learningsome :lick:
ill be making a photo movie or something like that that will show the entire *build. ill also add 2 pics with this post to show the case at the moment :up:
i must say that this is just the best case to mod, perfect standard size.
45cm long 40cm high and 20cm width.
it will become a case with cut out biohazard signs and the text Anthrax painted in green on de side and top, also i will chance every led in my case for brigth/dark green led's :lick: make green led's shine trough the cut out signs
anyways for me its the first time so i can need all the help from the pro's and the less pro's *everybody is better then me :lick:*

*im just modding not building a new case :P

ok so im new around here and ready to start my first mod :)
if youre wondering who i am: check the topic about introducing yourself, im in that one :)

So my idea was simple: mod my current computer

i was kinda going for painting it black with green*virus like green* Biohazard symbols on the sides and the top...
but i came with better ideas when i was beginning :up:
at the moment im actualy cutting,drilling,sawing and trying everything i can to get the symbol *Biohazard one* on the top of my computer out.
im almost done with that and i'll be posting some pics soon :D
im also replacing all of the blue led's in my pc for green once's so there will be green ligth comming out of the top :)
once i am started you'll catch the idea but for now you all have to waite for some pic's and update's :glasses: :dead:

Quick update:
I could borrow my uncle's Dremel so now it will go faster and looks better :)
i also made the dissision to make a side window with some 3mm plexiglass :)

I got one question about painting: i got some mat black paint in a can but what do i need to do before i paint it?
i took some pic's that will be in the next post :)

my mom got a HUGE plexiglass sheet from her father *wich is now kinda dead...* and i can use it for a window :D its about 2m by 1,5m and 3mm thick :) so i have all room for error :P

well this is a quick update, even if i can't mod, i can work and earn money for the newest thing i dicided*correct me please! :P* to put in: Watercooling! :D :D
i am really bad at sketchup or any programm like that so im gonna take some pic's of the drawings i did :) i can design but i can't make, kinda sucks... 2 of 6 exams done> tomorrow one more then 4 days of nothing and then last 3 to come... almost back to modding!! yaay :P

Hoerah another update :) this one will be a bit disapointing seen the fact that i just had 3 exams and now have 4 days off and then the last 3 :D :banana:
i just could sketch some new idea's out tomorrow ill be sketching out the front and then other side's i haven't thougd off :lick:
this one features a small chance in the size and overall look of the window i cut out :D :think: kinda still thinking if i should frost effect the edges of the plexi... :? :think: :?

anyways,

the middle window will get an diamond shape and the 2 side window's will be arching ober the middle one... :alien:
the red lines and area's still need to be cut out... those are as wel the area's that i just came up with :D
the blue one's are the one's already cut out or like the letter's still need to be cut out :D

i got the Coolermaster Aerogate 2 fan controller and atm i have 9 fans mounted in my case :D there will be two more in the front im cutting that as wel... but i need to get new cutting weels for the dremel becouse i have gone trough all the ones i had :P
i was wondering... can i make my own resevoir and stuff and then just mount a fish aquarium pomp as the pomp and make my own watercooler?

some pics of the coolarmaster aerogate II :) it has a chancing ligth every 2 seconds orso... about 7 colours :) it also has a green colour between em and that is the led color im searching for at the moment :up: got this free shipping site with fans (good ones) for 3 to 5$ so thats good if anyone want to know the site ill pm them to you.(dunno if im allowed to post it here)

just got the AC Ryan Ligthed Acrylic Fangaurds in :) 2 days after ordering :D

i worked on the front plate... still not finished.. going to get a A.C. Ryan grill look on both sides of the biohazard sign :) and also going to put 2 green LED fans behind it... just need to find some good green ones :)

i just put on the fast drying mat black on the front cover and i got to say... the colour is just.... WAUW! i love it it fits my style :) just done the first layer, will do the next one monday and the third finishing one thuesday

ill make osme pics tomorrow and post em tomorrow as wel :) but for tonigth its back to being the OverLord :D i love this game *same engine as fable :)*

So guys, this is another quick update, ive just painted the side and now im empty on paint so im gonna get that tomorrow ASAP! :)
also i ordered a revoltec dual green cold cathode 31.1 cm ( about 12,25 inch)
so i can proberly mount the 2 tubes beneath and above the window with alot of ligth glowing :)

i asked brinkz0r if he could design a rez, seen the fact that his rezzes have been feathured at the TBCS worklog posting topic :) he answered pretty fast and now where kinda exchancing idea's, still working on that, alsop im looking for a watercooling SET (very important that its a SET) with one where the pump is not attatched to the rezz, if anyone know a cheap combo of items to make a set just so i dont need to buy the rezz :) then im happy as well, becosue brinkz0r is kinda designing one with me :D so thats going to be, OFF THE HOOK! ( that how oyu say it rigth? ... :D)

thats it for now, when the cold cathodes arive and when ive painted the entire case ill post some pics... thats all for now, cya hopefully soon:

Hi everyone,

It has been a while since i last did a big update with picture's, altho i haven't updated pictures and stuff like that alot, i managed to do some stuff tho, just a short list: i had gone away the entire weekend becouse of my mom's 50th birthday. i painted the side's, the top and the frame. i have cut out hte plexi window and frosted the top plexi as wel as a part of the side window.
now im waiting for the green cold cathode's to come in so i can finish this mod. the'll proberly come in tomorrow.

@ Dont-Fear, i think it's going to be awsome to, at the very least i hope so :think: have to say tho, after painting and putting it back together it looked awsome :D

all i know what is in my pc is:

now for the pic's, becouse i was so stupid to not take any photo's of the ''build'' (i don't call painting building) you don't have the story between the previous photo's and the one's im going to show now. i will try to explain what i done at every photo and i hope you understand what i did... :facepalm:

first one, the completed paint-job and contruction, you can see the side and top window in, maybe you also cna see the frosted area's but i'll say something later on. the same goes for the green bay.

Side shot, you can see the frosted letter's this gives the light's behind it a very glowing effect, and becouse of that you can see the letter's more clearly. also the green drive bay, i painted it so becouse becouse it fitted the overall paint scheme and it is a great contrast with the mat black. it also makes the ligth a bit brigther, i have no idea how or why, but i like it! :banana:

this show's a bit of the ''cable-management'' and also it shows the green bay perfectly. you also see the dust, i will clean it up with some painting pencil (i have no idea what the dutch word: Kwast, means in english... soo yeah.... :think: )

i hope to do more mod's in the future, already got alot of idea's but still need to think of some way to gain sponsership ( yeah i ready the thread about it, just need to come up with a company, im thinking of the local Dynabyte) and i also need to have some experience at the case contest's and the championship's and a portofolio

Everybody,

Finely after a few days of waiting i got my Cold Cathode's in, put em in and then cleaned out my computer, unfortunly my cpu cooler got loose so i had to chance the cooling paste. that took some while...
anyways this project is finished. i want to thank everyone that gave me the :up: reactions just so i knew that i would get good. i also want to thank everybody else that helped me, and of course the people that answered my questions.
