Hello guys i paly alot of racing games and i found an old yes i know really old
Microsoft sidewinder racing wheel today at a swap meet basically it has everything but the power brick\adaptor.
I thought it would be easy to fine one or at least the type of adaptor it would use i cant find anything except on the bottom it says 12v 1.3A im guessing if icould find an adaptor that was 12 volt 1.3 amps it should work right ?

Thanks in advance

That's correct. Any 12V, 1.3 amp power supply (batteries, wall bricks, hamster wheel) that fits into the wheel will work.

make sure that the plug is correct size as well, as well as polarity. some have + on the inside and some have - on the inside. it will be pretty easy to test, as it wont fit if the plug is the wrong size, and the thing won't power up if polarity is reversed :)

I would look into laptop power bricks, you can find those fairly cheap on ebay depending on how old the brick is. :)

They sell those universal charger things at Wal-Mart. See if that will work.

Like a computer power supply, if you find a 12v brick rated at at least 1.3 amps, it should be fine. If the brick is regulated, it can be rated for any capacity at or above that (possibly even down to about an amp, in a pinch); if it's unregulated (meaning that at low loads it can/will supply too high a voltage) you don't want to go too much higher; 2 or so amps maximum would be safe; 3 would probably be okay, it depends on the individual brick.
