Hi all,

I have a project i am planning to so, only something small, my fav, Keyboard and mice.

Im going to start with my mouse, inspired by SGTM i have had a stab at this but my photoshoppin skills are not upto what meny people here can produce, I know myself i have helped others so i am hoping there will be someone able to help me.

This is my plan, I wish to dismantle my mouse, and place a decal on the center part of my mouse as you see below (The gray bit)

and this is the image i wish place on said gray part:

Linked as some might see it as NSFW (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/TBCS_Group/xcom/worklogs/bloddybabe/Bloody-Babe-1.jpeg)

this is what i have come up with sofar, as you can see, its not the best in the world, the blending is all wrong, thats one thing i can't really do:

basicly what i am after is similar to the above, but a better quality, and if possable the image overlay (Wider than the mouse) so i have room to play when i print the transfur.

I will offer something in return, a service, future help, monies.

PM me if you can help or reply here, either way i will get an e-mail notification.

Regards

You can try getting a vinyl sticker made. Still, it's going to be tricky because of the compound curve. You'll have to accept that there will be small folds. A talented airbrush artist could paint that. I wouldn't expect it to be cheap though. That's a lot of detail in a very small area. For the outside gray parts, I would base it red, and then do a fade with trans black.

thats it you see, i was going to get some transfur decal paper and use that strehing stuff.

The problem i have is that blend, i cant get it to black without it looking odd.

I was thinking of printing something to cover the whole thing?

i think i've come up with a soloution,

Since i normally look at my mouse sideways, and i was not happy with cutting soo much detail about of the picture, i decided to do it sideways.

GENIUS:

Do you guys think this looks ok? im going to order some water decal sheets next week unless someone else has a better method (Other than airbrush) to do this sort of thing.

Water slide decals should work ok. I like the orientation of that a lot better actually. Make sure you kick up the saturation a little bit when you go to print. What paint are you basing the mouse with? I would see if you can find a nice crimson paint to put on before the decal. I really want to see how this turns out though.

I think the original orientation looks better but that's just me. I would have said exactly the same things as SgtM. Water slide, vinyl or air brush.

Looks fantastic. Really like the mouse pad also.

I just noticed that. I want a TBCS mouse mat *throws CyberSniper mouse mat in the fire* lol.
