Has anyone else noticed that you can't buy anything apple branded from newegg anymore? No more iPods, Software, Macbooks, etc. The Apple Store section on Newegg no longer exists either. The only thing they have is accessories made by third party manufacturers.

Just thought it was interesting.

I noticed this the other day when I went to compare prices from a "blowout sale" from Apple. I was curious what the difference would be only to find newegg no longer carried any Apple products.

That is pretty interesting... maybe newegg wasn't making enough money on them because Job's is stingy so the Egg gave them the finger?

Or because only 2% of the population use Apple

A lot of people do have iPods. They seemed to be selling a lot, too.

Mac = 9.93%

Thats just for Mac, add in everything else and you got a pretty good sized market share for Apple Inc.

Here's more...

So in other words... Newegg would have to be crazy to drop the Apple product line, so something must of happened between the two companies. Maybe newegg wasn't selling enough.

You still can. Just search "Apple" and the old section comes up.

There's one macbook and one imac.

But how many mac people would be buying from newegg, I wonder.

Thats probably it. Not enough buyers. Amazon usually has the better deal when it comes to Apple products, too.

Good to know. I want an iPod touch but they're still too much money for me atm.
