Website Design : Which One?

Hi Guys

A good friend of mine owns a Sound and Lighting Company. I think his current flash website is in need of upgrade (and I can't believe it is paid for) due to the terrible graphics and crappy blurred images! I have today quickly whipped up a really simple website just to compare. Just though I would show you guys and see if you agree with what I am saying and the differences between the two. That site defiantly needs a face lift, it's painful.

What you have is a good start, i don't like it aligning to the right hand side of the screen. Websites should, imo be centred. Unlike design in otherforms which works better in 3rds, websites don't.

Personally im not too fond of the red and blue mix, they don't sit too well together. Maybe keeping the font a white/grey/black would end up better.

The Logo, and image on the right is ok. Except im not sure you need them on all the pages. If they are, maybe have some different images. And not liking the red box in between them either.
Maybe have the logo in the top section, along with or instead of the text you have there at the moment.

It's nicer then the not so professional and cheap looking one there is currently, that could possibly induce seizures of the epileptic :x

Totally loving the comments scotty and i must say in is 2am in ptwn what are you doing awake lol

The whole idea atm is that the flash site is **** and needs well... anything doing to it lol

I will take those comments on board certainly and will ammend.

I agree, the second one is much better than the first. I also agree that the blue font has gotta go! It is way too hard to read with the background in place. Also, I think the logo should be on top of the website or deleted as well, the text logo just feels out of place. maybe post it at the bottom? also the white mouseover highlight on the menu is a bit distracting, feels a little unnecessary but that is just my opinion, lol

Other than the fact that the new one is docked on the far right side of my screen, it looks good.
