I'd say max $250. I'd have to see pictures of the case to judge resale quality of the mod, and some wouldn't want to buy OC'd RAM without testing their stability.

the ram is perfectly stable. its only slightly overclocked he stock freq was 800hz i only put i up to 810 and besides its a great system you can barely tell it was modded as long as your looking at i from the side look at it from the top and bottom you can tell it was

You didn't list specifics on all the items, so the list below is a general price list.

AMD ATHLON 64 X2 6000+ (3.1GHZ) (http://www.avereststore.com/servlet/the-61693/AMD-Athlon-64-X2/Detail) - $85

XFX GTS 250 1GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150356) - $145
CREATIVE LABS SOUNDBLASTER AUDEGY 7.1 SOUND CARD 24 BIT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102012) - $35
2X 500 GB HDD'S (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145215) - $125
1 TB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145233) - $75
ROSEWILL CPU COOLER (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835200042) - $15
2X DVD RW CD RW DRIVES (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151188) - $60
FAN CONTROLLER (http://www.xoxide.com/sunbeam-rheobus-xsilver.html) - $30
SLIGHTLY MODDED RAIDMAX SAGITA 2 CASE (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156094&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Cases+(Computer+Cases+-+ATX+Form)-_-Raidmax-_-11156094) - $70
600W PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817379003) - $100
4 COLD CATHODES -$25
You didn't put your mobo in here, but we'll assume $150 new, $100 now.

Even if you bought this case new, with both graphics cards and all three drives, you would only have to pay $1080.

If you bought the case as is without the future upgrades: $880 new
If you didn't sell the current drives and graphics card, and just went with the 1TB and GTS 250: $865 new.

And to reiterate, that is the new price, i.e. what it would take to replicate that system as best I can without risking used components.

We then take into account that even though the 8600 is a Fatality edition, it is still 2.5 generations old by now: -$75
You didn't include speakers with the list, so the sound card would be useless without the buyer getting new speakers: -$35
The case is modified and I don't have evidence of the quality: -$40
Cold Cathodes, DVD Drives, and CPU coolers aren't worth much on resale: -$100

Then you take into account that the entire system is being purchased used, and I usually divide by 2 for that, but thats just me.

Final Datech-certified value: $307

So, with that math, we now talk about actually buying and selling. If you are setting a price for people to consider, I recommend $400. If I was a buyer offering you a price I would go no higher than $275.

Hope that helps.

Are you looking to sell it or are you just curious? I wouldn't buy any upgrades for it if you're planning on selling it because you'll only lose more money.

i may sell in the future. im only curious now. because the tech illiterate around the world are just balls crazy over custom gaming machines. the motherbpard is an ECS A790GX-A and it plays everything you can think of...crysis on al high gets maybe 25-30 fps plays all call of duty games at maxo,im with 40-50 fps all source and or steam games fps's are through the roof

i may try to sell it for that, but if i sell it on ebay like i plan to i might be able to up the anty maybe $200 if it doesnt sell then ill stick with the $1000 alot of people are harsh about my machinem cant go all out on parts in a depression, and a $600 budget on initail build and maybe upgrades once a month which also are on a strict budget

You will not get $1200 for this machine.

You will not get $1200 for this machine.

maybe from people who actualy know computers like us, but like i said, theres alot of tech illiterate people out there wo are just balls crazy about having a custom PC, and i could get 1200 for it, for its speed and power i could easlily ask for it regardless of what it has in it. i understand how you guys are judging it by its parts, but in the end its all about perfrmance and belive me, my beast preforms and doesnt dissapoint

Cool, let us know what it sells for.

Best of luck, always, but don't be surprised if it doesn't sell. Just a month or so ago I sold a similar system, it had an FX-62 2.8 CPU and only 4GB of RAM, but it also had two HD4670 video cards, a closed-loop CPU water cooler and a motherboard capable of running quad-crossfire video and I had to list it four times in Craigslist and Ebay both to sell it for $650.

Like the sale of any used item, it depends entirely on the market at the time, so you never know. There may be a sucker out there just waiting for it.
