True story: Today, around 10am this morning, our Financial contractor, the woman who is in charge of making sure a multi-million dollar tech firm stays on the right track, instant messages me. Here is the Yahoo Instant Message:

Now granted, this lady is far from computer savvy. But seriously, I didn't know what to say, I just told my underling to go help her. Makes me wish I had a hand in the hiring process...

Not today, but I had a /facepalm moment on Saturday. Was working on my parents' computer, and needed to put a 120mm fan in the side panel. Had the keyring I needed to get into the shop on my left index finger. Was carrying the side panel, dad's 18v drill, the holesaw and another drill bit for a pilot hole all at once. Got about halfway to the shop and thought I didn't have the keys. So I turned around and walk back to the house, set everything down on the table that is on their front porch, and that is when I realized that said keys were indeed in my possession.

I told a friend of mine who is interested in doing some modding and plexi work to come to this site and have a look at the little tutorial I did recently on using a scraper to clean up plexi edges, he gets back to me a while later and says, "I found your tutorial but it didn't make much sense?"

Now whilst I might not be the most literate of people I was a bit disappointed that he couldn't make sense of it so I went and checked the tutorial and THERE WAS NO BL***Y PHOTOS, oops, I forgot I cleaned up my web space and moved/deleted lots of folders and photos including the tutorial photos, I've sorted it now but felt a pratt :D

a guy came into my work yesterday ( we service RV's, ATV, snowmobiles, vespas). he said he was having issues with his trailer lighting/wiring. ok we said, and proceeded to get more info out of him:

-what exactly is going on with it?
-well the trailer works fine with his truck, but when we plug it into mine the lights work funny and it keeps blowing fuses, so theres something wrong with the trailer
-but if it works with his truck then its your truck thats the problem
-no theres nothing wrong with my truck, its the trailer
-um, sir, if the trailer works fine with his truck, the trailer is fine. if a known good trailer doesnt work on your truck, its your truck's wiring, not the trailer's
-no, its not my truck. I'm telling you its the trailer

this went on for 20mins or so, until he decided to let us take a look at his truck. and guess what...we found mice had chewed through his wiring on his truck :facepalm:

I had a practical exam Wednesday morning at 8.30 which means I had to get up around 7 and leave home by 7.30 to get there with time to spare. I never got up for school this early and after doing some serious study the night before I was quite tired when I got up. Anyway I got to uni, got into my exam, logged on to the computer and was waiting for the exam password when I looked at how much time we were allowed for the exam. The exam said 120mins and I went OMG, I thought we had 2 hours!!! As I said it my friends gave me the weirdest look and just started laughing at me lol, for some reason it just didn't click that 120mins is actually 2 hours. Yep, I'll never live that one down lol.
