If I remember right it was supposed to expire this summer but apparently they stretched it to next summer?
Sounds good to me.

Is windows 7 stable enough to use as the sole OS? Any word if they "bugged" it to track people's use for "testing purposes"?

That's what I've been using it as since the beta was released.

i thought the purpose of RC1 was to track bugs for Microsoft development... I think they should offer some program like the top 100 people who find the most bugs gets a free copy of windows 7 ultimate or sumthin..

They did something similar with vista. The top xxx of beta testers got a free copy of home premium.

anyone else getting "windows will expire in 2 days" message?
I'm using the RC product key, not the beta. I even went to MS's website and got a new key to be sure, but its popping up

I don't remember if the key I have was for RC or beta. I reaaaally don't want to have to go through the whole process only to have to redo it. :(
