I thought it would be cool if someone could program one of these. Instead of having to load this page and it's entirity, maybe an app would be good for people who don't have the full resolution required for the page. Right now, I'm posting from my iPod Touch. The site loads fine, but I have to zoom far in to do anything, really. Maybe even a small mobile site would be nice. :D
mmm... I have a plugin on my web (geared by wordpress) so you can view it from a iTouch / iPhone, without problem. But forums are another different problem. I have to look for something similar for PHPbb. Anyway, I mean, maybe a special app isn't needed.
The wordpress plugin is basically a custom theme and some PHP to detect the browser agent.

An App version of TBCS would be awesome! Anyone have some spare time and some programming skills?

It would just be nice to have a bit of a simpler deal. Maybe just have tabs that you poke and they open up to the different parts of the site?

I think it has been discussed before on building a mobile formatted site. Yup right here (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13972). I think its down the road a ways though.

An app would be easier though, considering that it can work with the pre-existing VB system.

All this would take is a resolution setting, some good ol' buttons, and maybe a bit of webpage editing.
It sounds like a good idea. I have no idea how to program though. Is there something in the SDK that we can use as a base and then expand on? How do you test without running it on an actual phone? Is there some kind of virtual iphone os provided with the SDK?

Yes; emulator; yes.
Ok then. How do we get the SDK?

Good question. I've been looking around for a while I would love to learn how to build apps for the touch/iphone. I've even tried looking into building apps for the blackberry too.
