Asimo may be cute but this guy is mean and there's a lot of processing power in use for it to have a sense of balance, I wouldn't like to be chased through the woods at night buy this brute (http://www.flixxy.com/quadruped-robot.htm), though if you stuck it in a rottweiler suit and used it for a guard dog it would be cool :devious:

Wow, that's pretty amazing.
This post looks so much like a spam post, though
I had to reassure myself that this and the last one you posted before this weren't spam.
That thing has ostrich legs in the front?

I think most of it is having a whole sentence as a link.

Ah, I see, Thanks for explaining that I 'll reduce the link size in future.

Doesn't look like spam to me.
Anyways, FREAKING CREEPY! Yet totally awesome. But very creepy. But very awesome. Its awesomely creepy.
I can see a lot of uses for this, especially in battlefield scenarios. Medical transport, supply transport, etc etc. Hell, pack one of these babies into an ambulance and you got a totally automated stretcher.

This has been posted here before, but I'm too damn lazy to look it up. Regardless, it is a pretty cool concept. This, combined with the 'Iron Man (http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/05/ap_roboticsuit_051508/)' suit that the armed forces are working on, leads me to believe that the days of Master Chief are not that far off...
