ok, ive done a few question threads, well i think its time to go ahead and post a worklog.
This case is based on the old 2d galaga arcade game, but will be 3d obviously. its made of 1.5inch square blocks.

as you can see, the blocks are not even lol. i have a belt sander im going to use to clean it up.

im almost done with building the whole thing, gotta sand down some of the midmatched blocks, primer and paint it

yup. one heavy SOB. im building a baseplate, i dont know if ill do it out of a single peice of wood or blocks. which would you suggest?

MAMMOTH!!! I was not expecting it to be that big. Looks like your off to a great start. Should be interesting to see it in its full glory!
