im lookin for a free bass boost program...... my music is already shakin stuff loose in my house.... but its not enough for me... the MS sound panels bass control sux... and usually distorts the music... so im lookin for a free/open-source option to boost my bass

What music player are you using? Why not just adjust the EQ in that program?

VLC media player... from what ive noticed it uses the least resources..

Equalizer settings were added in VLC 0.9.0 iirc. Also, as a side note, VLC actually uses more resources than similar media players. The reason for this is that instead of using codecs, it renders everything manually. This makes it terribly convenient, but rather slow on older systems. Still my media player of choice though :D

everything in my house cept this computer is a dual core.... and this is a P4 3Ghz with HT... so kinda like a dual core lolz
