I have this pre-mod "X-Blade" case that I've been using for a while. I got it for really cheap. This included everything except a HD. It was assembled by Visionman.

Anyhow, here's what I'm working with...

I'm planning to mesh most of this. I might keep the two intakes at the bottom.

I don't like this and I'd like to start over. This case is just about as generic as you can get so I expect to find a replacement at some point.

I'm happy to find a removable motherboard plate thing. Looks like there's plenty of room for the wiring.

I have already mounted a 120mm fan in the spare 5.25 slots, but it's not in this shot.

What a mess.

Will this case have a theme? Not really. It's going to be my main case for a while. It just needs to be functional for daily work and a bit of gaming. The performance is excellent for the small amount of money I paid for it :D

Current Specs:
Asus M2A-VM
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3.0GHz
4GB OCZ PC6400
XFX nVidia 9600GSO 768

Future:
Better PS

I'm totally open for suggestions ;)

Gotta find a better name my man. Like, "Project: X Redux" or "X2" (be careful there is a triple X)
As far as the case goes, I see a definite need for some wire management. I don't know what look you are going for as far as anything else though. :)

Wow I have a case with almost the exact same chassis as this one but it looks completely different. I'll be watching this one.

It turns out that there is no way to run the PS wiring around that bar, as the side of the case fits flush to it. I was not happy. I found some leftover wire loom and wrapped up most of it just to make it look more organized. It doesn't. :D

After I took the X Blade logo and aluminum bit off the door, I found a crazy light diffuser (?) inside. I thought that there must be 10 LEDs stuffed in there but there was only 2! This might be very useful in a future project.

I bought a new PS and it looks much better now. The only problem is that it vents some of the hot air back into the case, which is pretty much the dumbest thing I've seen. I came home from work today, cut a large hole in the top, and installed a 120mm fan. It works great.

Up next, a grill for the top and something to control all of these fans.

I opened this thinking it was going to be a Riddler (Batman) themed mod.

lol that's not a bad idea

I tried to change the title of the 1st post but it didn't work. Maybe a Mod can change it to "XBlade Redux" (please, ;))

The fan is an Aerocool 4-LED model. I don't know what CFM but it's really quiet. I think I paid about $15 for it a few months ago.
