I could see this as being useful for educating the new people.

Ugh, why does every chart list the "Floppy dirve power" as "Floppy drive power"/"mini-molex"? Proper term would be "Berg plug".

Keep that in mind if your ever taking a computer test. :)


Also, you sure you didn't get this from Hackaday? ;)

Im sure some of the parts listed are way before my time..

just shows how complacated a computer can be when you look at all the differant interfaces

Useful tho..

actually I did not get it from hackaday. I was searching for computer case renders with the term "computer" and came across this. I was not until later that I saw it on hackaday.

I'm surprised it doesn't have any USB ports on there. That's one of the biggest thing for a big box store is understanding the different USB ports. I still don't always remember which one is which.

I think they were only making an effort to include plugs that you would find on a computer, not on the other ends of cords that plug into them.

True, but USB cords are so common now that I would think it would be included anyway. The fun charts are the ones that include all the power cables though, from the mickey mouse and the trap-house all the way up to all of the proprietary laptop power cables.
