Did this today, finished it up so we could play emulatorz and stuffs.

Not much talk, I simply sprayed a LOT of paint.

Testors Orange Pearl overlaid with a fade pattern of red candy-yes, I know how hard that is to spray. I grew up in a body shop.

Setup was fiberglass and glazing putty to straighten the plastic, overlaid with high-build primer. Was kinda painty, didn't take pics.

After that, it was retaped and Krylon Fusion was sprayed for adhesion purposes.

That hand belongs to my oldest. The paint has drips, sags, and orange peel, but she did it, and she was having fun. I touched it up in the coats of Testors white pearl I shot afterwards.

And eyeballed, striped and refitted, sitting ready for fun.

Right now,I'm watching 300.

I had a productive day, you?

The Dell logo is still oh so slightly visible. I've wanted to do this same exact thing to every Dell we have at work--filling in the logo, that is. I think my employer would have issues if I changed the color of the case!

True. I have an impatient 13-year old.

Would have liked perfection, but her participation was worth more than perfect body work.

Can't argue with that.

13 year old impatient... NEVER. Mine is all the time, unless he's got a laptop hooked to the net.
