I don't think they should be able to create a concept for cars so many years away. I mean, opinions change, markets change (look at gas changes in the past 2 years), and overall designs change as well. People are fickle. Design a concept. Don't slap a year on it.

I dont really think its a sign of they are running out of ideas. That car has a very specific market. Guys like me that grew up seeing those cars growing up but couldnt afford one. Now that its almost impossible to get an original without spending 100K or more, and then if you can afford to get an original its a 35 year old car with 35 year old problems.. heh. That gives us the look but all the modern comforts we refuse to give up. For instance you take a 35 year old car, most people would be hesitant to jump in it and drive have way across the country, but wouldn't give a second thought of hoping in a brand new car and doing the same trip. With all the market research the car companies do (which by the way Concept Cars are all about) they produce cars that will sell, and they can make a profit on.. Its what business is all about. With that being said its hard to make everyone happy. I like the fact that they have a 400HP LS2 in the Camaro that can get 30MPG on the highway (heh.. of course thats not when its producing 400HP), but sounds like hella fun to me..

When I see a 400 H.P. hybrid I might think about giving a consideration to possibly agreeing with this statement.
Those cars are hot. Although I do wish they would bring back the Firebird, but with a different body than a camero. Also that Challenger is sweet, only thing I don't like is the wheels, and they (THE CARS) lookin alittle too rounded for me, but hey I like classic cars, no Aerodynamics and all power.
