So, in retrospect, this would have been better to post last week, but I was just wondering if anyone else was at Otakon this past weekend.

Sure wasn't. I need to go one of these years. Wonder who I would go as? Big Boss from MGS3 would be cool!

Yeah, living as close as you do, you wouldn't even have to deal with major travel costs!
My first time was last year, and both years I've shared a hotel room with friends. If you go a couple blocks away from the Convention Center, it's a lot cheaper and still not much of a walk. Split between me and two friends, our room with two double beds, a sofa-bed and a kitchenette was $180/person. I great deal considering that a room with a single double or queen and no kitchen stuff at the Hyatt or Hilton (both connected to the Center) runs about $400/night, iirc.

No doubt! One of the few bonuses living right around three major cities I guess? :bunny: It would be about a fifty minute ride for me, I'd figure.

I guess I may have to suck it up, and go next year. Biggest thing is I don't know where to start as far as registering.
