I got Ghostbusters working. All I did was install the EVGA 8800 GTS 512MB I bought from Trace. Loaded the game and started playing. This is odd because it wouldn't run with the XFX 8800 GT I originally tried to run it on. Both had the same driver (Current nvidia 8 series driver) Direct X 10 etc. I dunno why it wouldn't run on the gt.
Now all I can say is OMG is this game bad freaking ass on PC. No multiplayer but oh well. Growing up I was a Ghostbuster.... I had the proton pack, the ghost trap, and the PEK meter. All were cheap plastic toys but when you are 7 years old it doesn't matter because the action is all in your mind. I used to spend hours on end playing ghostbusters as a kid. Me and a friend would trap ghost from the minute we got home until it was time to go in and eat supper. This game has immense meaning to me. Its hard to understand how bad I have wanted them to make it.
It holds up to my dreams too. Man is this game awesome.
