View Full Version : Anyone ever heard of an Infoglobe?
It's one of these things:

It's meant for caller ID and can be programmed with a set phrase to display when no calls are coming. I was always curious about hacking one to show my CPU usage, temps, volatages, ect. Think it's possible? Anyone ever heard of it?

Hmmm.... I can just imagine Crimson_Sky putting one of these into his mod..... but it only has 35 text characters.... which mean you can't show a percentage unless you showed the word Percent.....
Very true. And I'm not so worried about the 35 char limit, as you can just have it scroll the message.
I'm reading up on it alot, and it seems a few people have figured out how to hack the default messages it says to say anything you want, but nothing to give it real-time data from a PC.

These are very easy to build. Google "propeller clock", and you'll find out how to build your very own. Here is a link explaining simply how it's done:

It'd be fairly easy to do and program, my friend's dad has done exactly what you want to do.
