You can disassemble and reassemble a PC and all of its components as many times as you want and you won't lose any kind of data or settings or anything like that. However, make sure you are always touching the metal case or something like that, to ground yourself. Likewise, you can buy a anti-shock strap to wear around your wrist. You can accidentally cause harm to your computer simply from static electricity. However, I've never had a problem with it and I've taken apart computers many times. Anyways, I only mention it because that's the only real risk when taking apart computers. In my experience, its not a very high risk. But maybe thats just because of me or something.
In short: You have nothing to worry about.

Technically you'll lost every thing that's in your systems memory .... but that happens every time you shutdown the system ;) Ram is not permanent storage... But so long as you don't store your hard disk on a magnet you shouldn't lose anything :)

Just remember that depending on where you live static can be more of an issue in the winter.
