Only one I had before my HDD crashed. 27 points of damage FTW! I could of made it even more powerful, but the more powerful you make it the more often you have to recharge it. I should of used a longsword, but I only had a daedric dagger on me at the time and I'm impatient. lol
The glass armor you see there is enchanted with magicka boosting enchants, I think like 24 points more for each piece. The bladeturn hood is just a sweet physical attack reflector/absorber or something like that. I can't remember exactly, but its pretty nice.
This was my character as level 21. It took awhile to find a complete glass set. lol. although I never did find a shield or helmet.

That amber armour and sword is pretty cool, got any stats? How the hell did you get that dog lol.
I really want to get Oblivion back from my cousin's boyfriend now lol. Apart from BF2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Crysis, Oblivion is my fav game :D.

It would look so much cooler if my PC didn't suck. Doesn't look anywhere near as nice as it would on a better computer.
Here are the stats...
http://oblivion.wikia.com/wiki/Amber_armor
I don't have the magical enchants though because I didn't bother spending the time trying to find all the special molds or whatever you want to call them. FYI - hope you like heavy armor more because madness ore is SO much easier to find than amber. I ended up cheating a bit because it was taking so long. But meh, I've played the game without cheating before so I think I've earned that right. lol
The dog was a gift from doing a quest. Freaking creepy as hell looking. Why couldn't I just get a regular one? Maybe a chihuahua? :p

Yeah I am a heavy armour kinda guy so I look for stuff with massive amounts of armour value lol. Sadly I never got a chance to go over to the Shivering Isles, can't wait to give it a shot :D.

You can embed YouTube clips. Copy the number and letter code at the end of the URL, click "go advanced" at the bottom of the reply screen, once the extra options have loaded click the YouTube button. This should bring up some HTML YouTube tags, just paste the code from the URL between the tags, post and your good to go.

Dang. I've been hoping for a Mundane Ring but haven't had the heart to cheat for it.
Anyway, quick screenshot tip: "tm" (toggle menus) in the console will get rid of the HUD, conversation you may be in, etc. until it's toggled again, so you can just take a photo of the world without any additional bollocks overlaid. I'm sure most of you know that trick, too, lol.
Possibly more fun: If you're looking to get a screenshot of your character, walk to where you want it taken, face where you want to face, scroll out to third-person, and type "tfc" (toggle free-flying camera), then move the camera around until you're happy.
I'll upload a few of mine as soon as I run across this thread again; I'm on the laptop now and there's a few things stacked in front of my computer desk.

That Nerveshatter warhammer looks awesome ,so so cool.
HAHAHAHA I love the Dwemer balls. :D Can you then later on use them? Like, have the NPC appear in front of you with 100% loyalty or something?
Pretty sweet gear there Zephik. I gotta get that bow :P
I remember in Morrowind, between various effects I had something over 100% magic resistance...made the Boots of Blinding Speed (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Pemenie_and_the_Boots_of_Blinding_Speed) a lot nicer :D
For those who don't know, the Boots of Blinding Speed were a set of unique boots in Morrowind with an enchantment of 200 points boost to Speed, but 100% Blind; an effect they didn't put into Oblivion...it does exactly what it sounds like, the display would darken by whatever percentage the Blind spell was for...so without my other gear/attributes that gave me crazy magic resistance, the screen would be completely black.
Zephik
08-14-2009, 01:02 AM
The Boots of Blinding Speed were at the very least good for super quick get-aways. Granted, I could never see anything, but thats why you take them off, point yourself in a direction and GO GO GO. lol

Raise the brightness in the settings?
Raise the brightness in the settings?
To counter Blind? Since it was actually an in-game effect, that wouldn't really do anything. Best way I found around it was finding a lot of stuff with 'resist magic' enchantments. For example, the Cuirass of Savior's Hide (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Cuirass_of_the_Savior%27s_Hide). 60% Resist Magicka from that alone, and it has one of the highest armor ratings in the game to boot.
The boy 4rm oz
08-14-2009, 10:16 AM
I thought it game would have just lowered the amount of light in game, so technically speaking raising the level of brightness in your settings would work, I guess it wouldn't make a difference with over 100% blind as the screen would just be black, for something like 20-30% blind it should work though.
Hmmm, idk, now you're making me want to dig up my Morrowind disc and find out....here's hoping I have a copy of that savegame file somewhere...

This is making me want to get that Morrowind Oblivion Mod. How cool would it be to visit the old game WHILE IN THE NEW GAME!
Hunting down golden saints on the plains was always one of my favorite activities. lol
Ah yes, Golden Saints...the only really reliable source of Grand level souls. And if you were quick enough you could even loot one that you summoned..and then soul-trapped and killed.. So you got a grand soul and a glass longsword out of the deal. For all you youngsters out there, glass stuff was crazy rare in Morrowind. The NPCs didn't level with you, so nice weapons and armor were rare. I remember I had acquired almost a full set of Daedric armor. Between the original game and the two expansion packs, there was exactly one full set. Well, ok, two, but one was constantly worn by a main-quest-required NPC in a tower in the middle of nowhere....stupid wizard, hogging the Daedric armor all to yourself :P
Zephik
08-14-2009, 06:59 PM
Yea, the only quick way to get glass armor was to pay outrageous prices at only one place in the game, and that was towards the end of the game so it really isn't all that quick. lol. That game was much harder than Oblivion imo. Nothing was easy. You had to run or walk everywhere, really good loot was rare, it was just an all around harder game.
I remember trying to find azura's shrine. Dear lord that took me FOREVER for some reason. But worth it because you got her star which is a reusable soul gem. You can get it in Oblivion too.
Yeah, it was definitely harder than Oblivion. I miss the dedication that it required, also there's not as many truly unique items..and the ones that are there are so easy to get that it almost feels cheap :(
BTW, I found my Morrowind discs and save files and checked on the Blind effect. Turns out there is actually no 'brightness' adjustment in the game, the only similar setting is the 'Gamma Connection', and adjusting it doesn't affect the Blind view at all. Remember, it changes what's actually being displayed, it doesn't just put a filter over it or something, so even if there were a brightness setting, I can't think of any reason why it would have any affect on it.

I remember how incredibly impressed I was with Morrowind. I spent $140 just to play it when it first came out. lol
But now you compare it to Oblivion and its pretty much laughable. I wonder if next gen Elder Scrolls is going to do the same thing to me?

HAHA, that's the horse you get for doing the Dark Brotherhood quests right? I had it, my other horse ran away cos I kept fast traveling and not riding hahaha.
Oneslowz28
08-29-2009, 08:37 AM
yea thats that horse. She too ran away. I fast traveled to the imperial city and it said she was stabled out side but when I walked out to get her she was gone. Oh well. Horsed make the game lag for me for some reason. I know its not video card related. I jump everywhere anyway because I like leveling up.
The boy 4rm oz
08-29-2009, 10:39 AM
When I get my game back I am going to leave that mission until the end, that way I get the horse when I have almost finished and don't need to worry about it running away.
1 thing that is particularly good about that horse is that it can't die, it just gets knocked unconscious for a while then wakes up. When it's unconscious you can use it to store all your goodies in it, it's great if you have just found some good gear but cant carry it, you just kill your horse, load up, wait for it to wake up again then fast travel to the city, kill it, take your goodies and your all set lol.
Oneslowz28
08-30-2009, 12:10 AM
is there any chance of finding it again after it runs away?
The boy 4rm oz
08-30-2009, 12:40 AM
I honestly don't know, I looked for ages when I lost my first horse (the one you get from the main quest, the escort one through the mountains), never did find it, really didn't bother me as I fast traveled mostly anyway.
Zephik
08-30-2009, 12:44 AM
The Dark Brotherhood horse can usually be found at the location of where you first got it if you ever lose it.
Also, it'll stay there forever if you never ride it. By this point I can run a good deal faster than any horse, so it's really kinda counter-intuitive to ride...also running/jumping/etc gets me xp ...also, I can't cast spells while riding, so if I'm riding during the day...during certain times .. :whistler: ..I can't heal the sun damage.
Zephik
08-30-2009, 05:27 PM
I think there is a horse pack mod so you can store stuff in your horse. That's the only useful thing about horses imo. You can also get some horse armor mods.
The boy 4rm oz
08-31-2009, 12:19 AM
Yep, if you have the retail version of Nights of the Nine you get that add on, but the GOTY edition doesn't have it.
Oneslowz28
08-31-2009, 06:02 AM
Ok I have to find the horse pack mod. With my luck enchants the 512lbs I can carry are not enough. Even if all I bring into a dungeon with me is a bow, robe, and my enchanted jewelry. I am going to start selling some of my enchanted weapons I have multiples of. I am seriously running out of room.
Zephik
08-31-2009, 03:33 PM
You can always do strength enchants to increase how much you can carry too.
How do you fill up so fast? Do you just take anything and everything? lol 512 pounds should be plenty to go dungeon crawling.
Oneslowz28
08-31-2009, 07:35 PM
I nab most of the heavy armor, and any enchanted weapons / items I find. I sell most of the armor unless I only have a few full sets. I found a necklace back when I was level 10 or so that had a +20 luck and a +15 strength. With out it I can only carry about 430lbs.
Zephik
08-31-2009, 07:42 PM
Hey that's right, you can buy stuff in this game. lol I haven't bought anything in a long time. Most of what I find is better than anything I can buy and I've become good enough at restoration that I don't need potions. I'm self sufficient! :p
Oneslowz28
08-31-2009, 08:25 PM
Yea I don't buy anything unless its a rare book from the first edition. I just sell stuff to all the shops. I am close to 100k gold

In Morrowind, there was actually a 'levitate' spell type. IDK why they took it out, it was such a useful spell. That and 'mark' & 'recall'.

I thought I remembered such a thing from Morrowind. I wasn't sure though.
They replaced mark and recall with fast travel. Although personally, I'd love to have mark and recall for dungeons and stuff. Choosing your own specific location to spawn at rocked.
Yup, and also not having time pass while you were teleporting. Personally I could see mark/recall working just fine in conjunction with fast-travel, since you have to visit the location you want to/from, and iirc, the other end is just your wizard's tower (I think it was tied to those quests...not entirely sure, come to think of it..). But I could definitely see that coexisting, since you have to have already visited both locations, and it's actually an instant transportation between them. I loved that spell for dungeon-crawling...also made quests nice.. just mark at the person who gave you the quest, and recall when you finish it :P
