That is sick. I take it he is on an R6? I wish they had his speed displayed as he was racing so people would have an idea of how fast he is taking some of those turns. Hopefully my videos will look a bit like that sometime soon!

nope its an R1, WSBK is typically literbikes, whereas supersport is the 600 class. even still, its a rediculouly-powerful bike
a tad under-powered compared the the other I-4 literbikes, but its cross-plane crank and wacky firing order (why it sounds more like a v-twin than an I-4) make the bike more rideable

In the supersport liter class, there’s always lots of talk about power. You expect that. What you wouldn’t have expected – until now – is a radically superior way to deliver that power. Introducing the 2009 YZF-R1, the first ever production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. Crossplane technology, first pioneered in MotoGP racing with the M1, puts each connecting rod 90° from the next, with an uneven firing interval of 270°- 180°- 90°- 180°. This all but eliminates undesirable inertial crankshaft torque, which allows the engine’s compression torque to build smoothly and provide a very linear power delivery out of the corners. It’s a feeling that’s simply unmatched, like having two engines in one: the low-rpm torquey feel of a twin with the raw, high-rpm power of an inline 4. In fact, the new YZF-R1 is not a continuation of existing supersport development; it is breakthrough technology that represents a paradigm shift in both technology and performance.

That is definitely insane. I would love to see some of the ricers with literbikes at the Varsity in Atlanta take corners like that. I've seen some talented CBR1000 riders due stuff like that, I know a ZX-9R rider who can lean like crazy, but most of the chumps up there on Z1000's, ZX-12R's, R1's, and of course the Busa's would probably clean the grease pit at the Varsity before they'd try that. Granted most of those bikes weren't explicitly made for racing like that, but still.
I'm seriously jonesing for an 09 Ninja 650R right now. Remember that I am first a commuter and then a twisty rider, and I'm not going for a ZX-6R for that reason. Still loving the crap outta my 250 though.

I'm either getting another TL1000R next year or a Ducati Hypermotard
