After browsing the internet for a while I've found some amazing manufacturer sites that sell refurbished products at insane prices. I've only ever encountered 3, but I'm sure some TBCS members have found some more than that...

Heres what I've found:
[US] Alienware eBay Outlet Store (http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Alienware-Outlet_Accessories-Cases_W0QQ_fsubZ5QQ_sidZ102667098QQ_trksidZp4634Q2 ec0Q2em14?_sop=15&_sc=1)
Here you'll find great deals on Alienware cases and power supplies. They also have cheap laptop batteries and case accessories.

[UK] Acer Outlet (http://www.aceroutlet.com/)
Shop desktops, laptops, netbooks, monitors, etc...

[US] Dell Outlet Store (http://www.dell.com/us/en/dfh/df.aspx?refid=df&s=dfh&cs=22&~ck=bt)
You can get anything from full desktops, to laptops or even monitors and keyboards, all at amazing prices.

[UK] Dell Outlet Store (http://www1.euro.dell.com/uk/en/dfh/df.aspx?refid=df&s=dfh&cs=ukdfh1&~ck=betafrbsd)
You can get great deals on refurbished desktops and laptops here.

[US] Cooler Master Refurbished Store (http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com/index.php?cPath=18_37)
This refurb store has amazing prices on Cases, Power Supplies, CPU Coolers and Accessories.

[US] EVGA B-Stock Store (http://www.evga.com/products/prodlist.asp?switch=20)
Not as great of deals as other stores, but there is a steal every once in a while.

[US] Sandisk Outlet (http://shop.sandisk.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?SiteID=sdiskus&Action=DisplayCategoryProductListPage&categoryID=13937600&parentCategoryID=13027500&pgm=15238100&resid=@aDDvAoBAiMAAB5NUyoAAAAN&rests=1249059882361)
Though not as great of deals as the other stores, good pricing on MP3 players and flash drives.

Post your great Refurb stores here!

You can't forget the Dell Outlet. I love that place. New stuff sent back with huge discounts. Older stuff too. We should sticky this and add to the first post.

I stuck it.

Another company is Sandisk. They have a awesome refurb store. I think acer does too.

Keep adding to the list so we can keep this a sticky.

Acer (http://www.aceroutlet.com/)

Acer appears to be UK only; I can't seem to find a US site also, I'll just have to mention that in the post.

Lenovo Outlet (http://outlet.lenovo.com/)

Awesome deals, especially in the 'New' and 'Redistributed' sections, where the thing was either never shipped or never opened, respectively.

Would you guys trust some of the refurb gear in your rigs? I'm just curious because some of the cooler masters stuff like heat-sinks and power supplies seem HEAVILY discounted. Any sort of precautions you think I should take if buying this sorta stuff? I would hate to throw a bad heat-sink in my rig and fry the processor. It's so tempting but it kinda makes me nervous. What do you guys think?

I would check first to see what kind of warranty they offer. In general, if they offer at least a 30-day warranty I wouldn't have any problem getting a HS/F, case, or other similarly mechanical thing. For PSUs though, I would want at least a 60-90-day so I could actually run it for a couple months and stress-test it over time.

I'm actually more than a little surprised that doesn't go on more than it does, especially with smaller stuff likes laptops. It's pretty ridiculous how big the price difference is for a lot of stuff.

Most of what I sell on ebay goes out of the country; almost half of what I sell goes to Brazil.

Considering the variety of refurbished gear available, have you ever purchased any refurb equipment for your rig, and if so, what precautions or warranty checks did you prioritize before making the purchase? Additionally, for those who sell on platforms like eBay, do you find a significant portion of your sales going to international buyers, and what has been your experience with shipping to different countries?

Are there any additional refurbished sites, especially those available in the UK, that you would recommend for computer hardware components and accessories?
