is it possible 2 have 2 internet connections on one computer?
(I know this isn't really a rookie question, but it feels like a silly question)

I know you can't have them running simontainuasly, but is it possible to split thim in one of thease ways (or other ways)

i.e 1) have one connection running WoW, and the other loading up a Vid to youtube. (2 programs, each thier own connection)

or

i.e 2) while surfing that each web page gets divided into 1/2 (one ISP per half)

or

i.e 3) each alternating packet gets sent to a diffrent network (this would help with internet sequirity too i would think...)

or perhaps a combanation of them.. or something else...

is it possible?
and if so, how would one go about doing it?

yes
no
yes

Look into network load balancing. I can't tell you how to do it atm, but it'd definitely be an interesting project. Really though, unless you simply cannot get a faster single connection, it'd be better to just set up QoS rules on your router (in the case of question #1).

Haha, yeah, looking at the times I guess that was pretty fast. Funny how stuff coincides like that :P Out of curiosity, why the need to do the load balancing?

no reel need, more curiosity/daydream. getting 2 fiberobtic internet connections, ex, download all of youtube while kicking ass on WoW (or gunz, or what have you) :)
