Drupal problem. Someone help.

I have been trying to create a slideshow using views and views slideshow for a few days now. I have watches all the videos, read all the documentation and still can not get it to work right. I think the problem lies within the image module. It does not create a content type called image, like IMCE does. There are people using views+views slideshow+Image to make slideshows. I just can not get it to work.

I have all the necessary supporting modules installed and followed all the videos to a T.

I'd be willing to be that is the problem you're having. Took me a while to figure that one out. It's in the views screen.

So set the sort criteria to Global random

Check your field.. it appears to be set Node Type: Type.. you so in that case it would only display the Type of Node it is. Check and see if there is an image field available.

Try removing all the Fields, and under Filters use Taxonomy:Term

I tried that and it says "the style slideshow uses fields and none are selected.

What views show up in your list of views now?

The only views that are in there are the default ones and 3 that I have made to try get slideshow type things working.
