I'm looking for a company that will laser etch a computer window for $100 or less. I've already heard of Hyperkore, but I was wondering who else is out there.

I've looked there, but all they seem to have are window installation kits. Kustom PCs seem to have some available, but all the prices are in pounds. I would like the shipping to take place at least in America, so that takes that out of the running...

Hey, I was just browsing the forum for the first time and I wasnt even planning on registering until i read your post. I'm a cnc machinist here in Cincinnati, Ohio and I think I may be able to help you out. We've been looking for some new business, and although i have never etched plexiglass before, i have the resources and some plexiglass panels off of a clear tower i built to mess around with. My cnc machine is PC based, so i can work with jpeg's or gif's if you had a picture you want etched.

I'll run some test tomorrow and post some pictures of some samples as well as prices.

frozencpu might be a place to check.

Also a lot of people use the dremmel to etch there Acrylic.

Thanks a ton, Jason. I'm glad to see that there's an alternative to ready made windows..

you can cut on aluminum, just not with the same depth as plexiglas; basically, you can just do outlines.
