Its getting closer and closer to regular season kickoff in both the NFL and NCAA. I will go ahead and admit that I follow NCAA football more than the NFL but that's just semantics. This year is shaping up to be one of the best NCAA football seasons ever.
UGA has some new faces but all indication from the coaches say that this year is their year. Mark my words when I say that UGA will be SEC champs this year.
Georgia Tech is looking strong this year and I believe they will be a tough team to beat in the acc.
I hope Clemson has a good season this year, after getting shaken up last year with Tommy Bowden getting fired mid season. I doubt they win the ACC but I think they will make a bowl game.
I am torn between Tenn and Auburn on which will be the better team this year. All I know is that UGA is going to roll through both like its no ones business.
FSU is going to have a very tough year after the ineligibility scandal last year. The same goes for Alabama. While it was not caught up in deep like FSU was the athletic program was shaken up a little.
The gators lost their star player and I don't think they will be much more than an average team this year. They will make it to a bowl game but not much else.
USC, LSU, or Michigan will win the BCS championship because they are popular teams and we all know how screwed up the BCS system is. The quicker they move to a tournament style system like NCAA basketball the better off NCAA football will be.
I will leave the NFL post up to someone else because I am lost on the preseason stuff right now.
