TBCS is looking for 1 more person to add to our Journalist staff. This position does not pay anything but you do get the chance to have your writings published on the front page.

So do you think you have what it takes to write for TBCS?

The requirements for a tbcs journalist are:

Must write 1 article a month.
Must be willing to help out with small task around tbcs.

Yep thats it. Sounds simple huh? It is.

To apply simply write a 500 word article on anything computer related. It can be modding specific, game based, or anything you can think of as long as it revolves around computers. Extra points are given for images accompanying said article. When you have your article written, just pm it to me and you will be informed of our decision within a week.

Is there a specific niche or topic that the position is going to be based around? Or is every months article just whatever you want to write?

I may be interested, but I was never very good at randomly coming up with topics.

Just as long as it is PC related its ok. I would like to see some modding articles show up in the near future but general PC talk is fine.

Very, very long. :whistler:

Come on, who DOESN'T want to be TBCS staff? You get a nifty little button next to your name, you get to hang out with the other staff in our secret section, AND you can put it on your resume (I sure as hell did)!

:smoker:

There are other perks that come with the job but they are top secrete and do not kick in for the first 5 months.

Hey! I've had my TBCS Staff secret decoder ring for over 5 months now, did I miss a memo??

Geographic location an issue?

Nope! TBCS operates completely here on the internet and the only reason why location might be an issue is if your timezone is so drastically different -- but that's not unworkable.

Basically, you need to be creative (which most people here are, this IS a forum dedicated to creating the things that come to your mind), have exceptional writing skills, have a computer (durrrr...), and have a drive to work hard, take pride in that work, and make deadlines.

Really, if you already enjoy writing, and computers, this is an easy-as-pie kinda job. Write about tech shows, new advances, mods, TBCS happenings, etc. There's never a shortage of material and new, innovative article ideas are always welcome.

No you didn't miss the memo. I am sure you got it a few days ago. :whistler:;)
