Sorry if this is a dumb question but i have a feeling someone around here might be able to help me out. Does anyone know were I can buy zip ties in bulk for a decent price? My girlfriend is looking to get her hands on a bulk order but I don't really know whats a good price to pay.
Thanks for any insight.

Define "bulk". Are we talking a 53-foot trailer load?

I'm not sure what her idea was but I was thinking a decent sized box full. At least a few thousand.
Is this something I should just go to the hardware store for? I'm only asking because she keeps bringing it up lol.

If you don't need them tomorrow, here's a thousand for $11:

Actually I usually go to Fry's. Not any more though, but that is a different story.
Do a quick online search and you will find many places to get them in bulk. Know what they are for before buying though. Some are strong enough to tow cars with and some stretch and snap if you breath hard.

I usually wait until harbor freight runs the 1200 on sale for $5 and buy a few. Depends on what sizes you are looking for though.

I might just run her to harbor freight. She's gonna use them for securing hammocks in her animal cages so they don't need to be extra heavy duty or anything. Small animals are light.

I was never very good at story problems, but it seems to me that someone has too many animals.

Lol, no, just one rat and one ferret. She just clips them off whenever she cleans the cages and puts new zipties in and it would be nice to not have to get them all the time, (or listen to her tell me she has run out ever few weeks.) When she runs out she starts taking mine if I have them around.

You should look it up on TheFind.com (http://www.thefind.com/)
You can find pretty much anything on there.
