So... where's the computer? Is it inside the drum? :p

I don't know much about drum sets, but I like the color! Its almost a brownish copper-ish looking, very nice. How much does something like that set go for?

Nice!

I'd post up a pic of my other "babies", but my camera died on me.

anywho, one is a black fender p-bass from 1979 with a white pickguard and Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups, the next one is an Ibanez AEB10BK (at least that's what i think it is, and i'm too lazy to get up and check)black acoustic/electric bass with built in e/q and tuner, and the third and final one is a Yamaha RBX260F that has a natural woodgrain finish and flatwound strings.

then all three of those (not sumultaneously, but rather, when i want to; ) plug in to my Ampeg BA300/210 combo amp... 300w from two 10" drivers and a tube preamp.

I like to play. =p

Epiphone Les Paul Limited Edition from 2000. Transparent green finish with heavy woodgrain/flame pattern, VERY figured rosewood fingerboard, chrome/cream hardware.

90's ish (I guess.. no idea really) Squier P-Bass

Late 70's Fender F-65 Acoustic (Grand Concert size)

Currently working on getting a new amp.. the one I've been playing through (Marshall AVT100 Combo) belongs to a friend, and he's moving to Ontario. Maybe I'll just make him an offer to buy it..

ahhh, I miss my drum set. No room at my house so I have several Conga's and drum pads.

Good thing he's far away from his neighbors!

I've got ~$3k in it so far. Most expensive part would be the Tama Iron Cobra double pedal at $500.

Very nice 5 piece. Now, when are we going to see a youtube video of you playing it?

Here's one of mine.

Possibly. It will be a three minute clip though, and I make no guarantees about sound.

I'm waiting DT. I don't take lesson myself and I never have, but I can play better than the average Joe. Looks like a nice kit man.

bumping this because i now have pictures of my "babies"

http://thebornotaku.com/images/basses.JPG

left to right:
1979 Fender P-Bass II (with a squier neck because the original neck broke)
Ibanez AEB10BK-BE
Yamaha RBX260F

bigger pic of the fender:

http://thebornotaku.com/images/bass.JPG

the fender is my pride and joy, the ibanez is the "i take it with me places and play it outside" bass, and the Yamaha only really comes down when i'm playing chill music (which is hardly ever).

Cost on each?
Fender - Free (not including pickups/paint/the many sets of strings i've gone through)
Ibanez - $160
Yamaha - $200.

yeah, woodgrain yamahas are awesome.

my main reason for getting that is the bass my mom had most of through my childhood was a 5 string yamaha woodgrain bass like that, and i wanted one. actually, the strap that's on the hangar behind that bass is the same exact strap my mum had.
