I'd like to try and build my own custom computer case. Nothing outrageoulsy super crazy and cool like the Doom 3 or the Stealth bomber custom builds. I just want to build a pyramid/oblisk computer case. I'm thinking I can scrounge certain parts from old computers, like the harddrive and optical drive holders. What I really need is to find parts that I could use to make the frame onto which I would bolt on aluminum sheets. Any place that would suite my needs?

Lowes has a great section with lots of extruded aluminum pieces in various lengths. This is where I get my raw materials for frames and such. The company that supplies Lowes is called SteelWorks (http://www.steelworks.net/) caution tho, their website sucks and provides no information.
