What a great freaking idea! What did this guy say? Like 33 billion chop sticks are thrown out each year? So he takes all of that and recycles it into some pretty cool stuff. I love the baskets, they fold and become flat! lol so cool. And they aren't too expensive either.
Just thought I'd bring this to your guys attention. Pretty neat stuff! I love stuff that thinks out side of the box while actually bringing consumers something WHILE recycling none-the-less. Definitely gets a thumbs up from me anyways.

I saw this on shark tanks and I agree with the sharks. Used chopsticks are gross.

Sorry, maybe it's not called Shark Tank.. it's a show where people with ideas pitch them to investors to get backing.
It's on the air in a few countries (Canada and the UK for sure) as "Dragon's Den".
Either way, I'm sure that if the chopsticks were chewed up, or really dirty, they would not be used, and the ones that are used are almost certainly sterilized before use.
I certainly would not pull something from the trash, and use it to build a basket for storing food without AT LEAST washing it first.

Yep, saw it on the Shark Tank. Its on Hulu now by the way for you US residents.
They're washed and sanitized and perfectly clean. You're kidding yourself if you think anything else is any cleaner. Germs are everywhere. What did the Mythbusters find out that one time? That there are just as many germs on a toilet seat than on a toothbrush. or that double dipping makes no difference at all. (unless the person is sick)
It makes you think though. What else could we recycle that we don't? There is so much unused resource everywhere you go, all you have to do is have a good idea about how to use them.
