Greetings all. I have a question regarding PS/2 (5pin) and USB connectors. What are the pin assignments for both? I searched around on Google, but unfortunately the few sites I found for the PS/2 connectors all said something different, so I'm not sure what to trust. The ones I found for the USB seem to all match up, but just in case I figured I'd ask anyways. Thanks a ton...

Look for white papers on each different type of connectors. I found a USB1.1 white paper about 1-2 years ago and it contained the information I needed.

I get all my Pin information from this absolutely great website Here. (http://www.technick.net/public/code/pinouts.php)
Go have a look, but make sure you're looking at the right end of the connector, m/f. For example, on a Molex, the pins are in what you'd expect to be the female, so it's the male. I managed to blow up a power supply last week because i connected up what i thought was a 5volt to a ground. I still have no idea what i connected, but in my haste i hadn't realised i was looking at the female power supply port. Good luck with yer Hardware hacks-and if you come into the possesion of an URL that will help with USB interfacing, let me know.
