Probably not a big deal to some but it's pretty disgusting to me.

Aren't both their flag and our flag going to be displayed in the same proximity but with ours higher? I thought that's how these things usually happen? I'm not sure if I see anything wrong here. The article doesn't say much. But I'd imagine this is just going to be a standard procedure. We raise their flag as a gesture of good will or whatever, but we have our flag in the same proximity of theirs but at a higher position.

The article was inaccurate. The Chinese flag is NOT being flown at the White house, but just across the street on the Elipse.

This is typical. I'm seeing a pattern in the links my buddy sends me. lol

I think I'll finish reading them and do a little research before posting from here on out.

I was going to say that it wouldn't surprise me. We already send our business their way, buy our products from them, borrow money from them.... I'm tellin you we are becoming more and more hopelessly dependent on China.
I'm gonna stay ahead of the curve and start learning Chinese...
