I was going to call BS on this, since a ping pong ball doesn't have the mass to inflict that kind of damage. It would obliterate itself before it could penetrate anything... THEN I noticed the video of him filling it with water and read the whole article, which totally changes the game. Pretty cool way of getting a cheap projectile that has tight tolerances.

Ya, I was thinking the same thing at first. The power of water and it's properties. I think the military is using a waterbomb of some sort to destroy IEDs without detonating them... just obliterating them. I'll have to try and find the video, I saw it a lonnng time ago so it's a little fuzzy.
