Well I have a few ideas floating around for what to do with the one I got a year ago and never did anything with it.
1) Small monitor (Is there anything I could do to customize an interface that would display Temps and such?)
2) Even thought about making a laptop out of it, but it seems to be a waste of money and time trying to get parts for it (micro atx board, all that stuff)
So I guess its kinda up in the air at the moment, but I think something relating to temps and such would be cool.
Do you guys have any ideas?

Serious Samurize (http://www.samurize.com/modules/news/) - Takes a LOT of tweaking, but you can make one hell of a display for temps and system monitors.

is that difficult to configure? As I don't know much coding, at least I can do the graphical side of things.

Honestly, I've always used the preconfig'd layouts and tweaked them to show what I wanted. I don't have the time or patience to do more.

Do you know if you are able to say make one with specific dimensions? And somehow center this perfectly on a monitor?

Yep! But it takes some time.. Honestly once you get the hang of it.. its not too bad. When you are laying out your config it lets you do it directly on the screen so you can put them anywhere you want.
I used to have a few screenshots up on their site of my configs, but that was years ago!
EDIT: Wow, its STILL out there! LOL

Well as the monitor itself is not built yet, I would like to get started working on the resolution and such. (640x480) Also is it easy to configure for hardware that you don't currently have. As in, can you add items such as bars for extra threads, as my new CPU will have 8 threads, I would like to have a usage bar for each of these.
